Oh I Almost Forgot Why I'm Here...

I almost forgot  why I'm blogging in the first place; so before I blog any further, let me tell you about my upcoming book, Skeletons.

Skeletons is about three friends, Santana, Jovanna and Phoenix who think that they know all that there is to know about one another; however ignorance is bliss because what they don't know threatens not only their friendship, families, careers but also their lives.

Santana seems to have it all; marrying her high school sweetheart she seemed to have the perfect marriage.  Working as a CPA for a large and productive company she seemed to have the perfect career.  She was a great mother, raising two well-behaved children, so she seemed to have the perfect family.  However, behind Santana's flawless smile hid the spirit of someone who was deeply unhappy. Feeling as if she doesn't know who she is other than wife to Mike and mother to Malik and Chevon, Santana feels as if she is fading away into the woodworks of life. Until she meets Tabitha who comes to work as her temporary assistant.  Tabitha reminds Santana of who she use to be; beautiful, young and carefree.  Quickly Tabitha draws Santana into a lifestyle that Santana thought she left behind and buried in the backyard of her past. Will Santana's newfound wild side and a dangerous friendship cost her a ten-year marriage and her career?

Jovana thought that she was living in a dream when Kevin asked her to take his hand in marriage.  Coming from a grimy past, Jovanna never thought that she would meet and marry a man as wonderful as Kevin.  On top of that she climbed her way up the ladder from hostess at Dennys to one of the most sought after event planners in the St. Louis area.  However, when a piece of her past lands on her doorstep that could unravel all that she worked hard to get as well as cost her her life Jovanna has to scramble to right her wrongs while keeping Kevin in the dark about who she really is.

As co-owner of The Look Salon in St. Louis, Phoenix thought that she was on top of the world and her world only got bigger when her boyfriend and father of her child told her that he was going to move their family to Seattle, Washington after he handled some business.  As excited as Phoenix was she knew that she couldn't share that excitement with anyone that she knew because her boyfriend was also her twin sister's husband and that their sons were not only brothers but were also cousins. When Phoenix finds out that her little secret isn't as hush-hush as she once thought she realizes that she has to act fast in getting Keith to leave his wife and move away to Seattle before anyone finds out what she has hidden in her closet.

Skeletons is about secret past, hidden lives and the power of true friendship; however, some skeletons are too dangerous to remain hidden.

TTFN!
